The Neuburg Luftwaffe base is not far from Munich and houses the Jagdeschwader 74, a unit assigned mainly for the south of Germany defence. The main aircraft used are the F-4 Phanthom in the specific version named “F” which soon will be sided by the new European construction fighter plane Eurofighter “Typhoon”. | La base della Luftwaffe di Neuburg si trova a poca distanza da Monaco di Baviera e ospita lo Jagdgeschwader 74 destinato prevalentemente alla difesa aerea del sud della Germania.
