The nuclear aircraft carrier De Gaulle was launched in 1989 and in 2001 has carried out its first operation cruise. The two nuclear reactors allow autonomy of several months without refuelling. In addition to several Dauphine and Alouette helicopters it is supplied with the new Rafale and the updated Super Etendard M aircrafts. The DVD scenes have been filmed in the Mediterranean Sea, during a deck landing new pilots qualification session for its air fleet. |
La portaerei nucleare Charles De Gaulle è stata varata nel 1989 e nel 2001 ha effettuato la prima crociera operativa. I due reattori nucleari consentono alla nave una autonomia di alcuni mesi senza rifornimento. I velivoli di cui è dotata sono i nuovi Rafale, i Super Etendard M aggiornati e l'Hawkeye oltre a diversi elicotteri Dauphine e Alouette. Nel DVD abbiamo documentato l'intensa attività di preparazione svolta nel mediterraneo durante una settimana di navigazione. |
